DICE LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES

Building Cohesive Communities through powerful learning experiences

Improve your organisation’s culture by embedding equity to create a thriving community

Diversity. Inclusion. Cohesion. Equality.

An online quiz and some tick boxes are not going to prevent discrimination. We need to confront our prejudices and biases, and every single one of us has work to do.

To make an impact at a enterprise-wide level, we have to start with the individuals. Communities are made up of people and cohesion is driven by those people. We work from the ground up and support leadership to make the change.

BCohCo specialises in delivering powerful, real-time learning experiences. Intimate sessions with a specially trained DICE Development Associate creates space for individuals to reflect, process and relearn.

The sessions are challenging and active participation is mandatory. This is the only way learning can be truly felt on a visceral level and individuals can begin the change within their organisations.

The future of learning

Visceral Learning Experiences
The DICE Programme is delivered via engaging online or in-person sessions, led by a specially trained DICE Development Associate. Participation is mandatory and cameras are encouraged at all times.
Reflective Practices
BCohCo fosters strong conversations that handle heavy themes. Our participants are given time to reflect and understand why our conversations are taking place.
Brave Spaces
We limit our class sizes because we want to keep any participant safe and foster caring discussions. Our sessions are all about chatting to each other, listening to other lived experiences and taking part in introspective activities.

COURSE GOALS

Cross-Cultural Literacy

  • Communicate, hear, include and promote the people with difference
  • True inclusion, equality and cohesion at a policy level right through to a personal level
  • Awareness of acceptable language, the lived experiences of many people with protected characteristics and how to handle disputes
  • This is not a destination, but a practice we must always be developing and improving on

Why DICE?

The working world is changing. Not only do the working generations stretch from Baby Boomers to Generation Z, but more people with protected characteristics are entering the workplace.

Greater diversity in the workplace needs to lead to stronger communities, better work and greater success. However, we recognise there will be challenges.

Choose your DICE programme

Sometimes, people don’t know what to say to each other. They don’t know if their actions feature bias. They worry about causing offence. They don’t know how to handle open discrimination. But, we are all learners.

BCohCo’s DICE programme gives people the ability to have brave, uncomfortable conversations underpinned by trust and respect. We create DICE champions who will build communities as the workforce grows and welcome anyone and everyone to the fold. This is the only way to beat back cognitive dissonance and fight your organisation's bias.
